Amazing experience! I went with some girlfriends for my 25th birthday and was amazed at how professional and friendly everyone was. The fact that my friends and I could bring our own bottle of wine and some fruit and cheese trays was great! (Glasses were provided)! The owner is super friendly, and the therapist! She was great- she didn't talk as much(massage envy therapists talk a lot) and she really did a number on my shoulders. At the end, my friends and I were refreshed and ready to take on brunch! I also received a mini package of soap I believe for my birthday. Everyone enjoyed themselves so much that my friends have gone back on there own multiple times!“Amazing experience! I had so many friends tell me great things about Ohm Spa that I had to go see for myself. Now I know what everybody was talking about. This spa is amazing! I booked a full day package for me and my girlfriend about a week in advance b/c we wanted to go on her birthday (Saturday afternoon). After going to dayspas for years, I can honestly say that this was the best experience I have ever had. As beautiful as the spa was, the best part are the people who work there. Went to Ohm with my sister and had an wonderful time. The first thing you notice is now nice the place smells. The interior is beautiful and plush. The staff was very warm and accommodating. We each had the 1-hour massage and 1-hour facial and I was so zen-ed out by the end I almost fell asleep in the lounge when I was done. I've had lots of massage and facials before but both services there were exceptionally thorough. The deep-swedish massage was deep but not painful. I have sensitive skin and the facialist was very gentle with my extractions. We stayed for about 30-minutes after we were done and I saw lots of equally zen-ed out faces around. The best spa in the city! The services are top notch and the spa itself is stunning. I've been a fan of Ohm for a few years now and I recommend it to everyone looking for a major day of pampering. Ohm spa is run by a husband and wife team who are very dedicated to Ohm Spa. Their staff is welcoming and professional. I was able to get a last minute appointment for a facial, which was very relaxing. Their lounge is huge and they have a lot of amenities, including 3x of flavored waters, various teas, crackers, fruits and chocolates (I am not sure what other reviewers were expecting). They even stayed late to let me relax in the lounge after they have closed. It's this type of personal attention and customization that you can't get at the chain spas. “Gorgeous ambiance and super relaxing.”

This spa is phenomenal! I planned a bachelorette party here, for a conservative Muslim bride, and was amazed by the respect and care taken, to ensure she felt comfortable throughout the day. Kathy, the spa owner, made sure that no men would be around the spa during our party so that the bride could take off her scarf and let down her hair. As soon as we walked through the doors, we were hit with that relaxing "spa smell" and everywhere we looked, there were candles! We were greeted by two, very sweet and welcoming, women at the front desk who took our coats and had us fill out some forms in a small waiting area. While we did that, the staff setup a small table for all of our party's treats and goodies in the nail area of the spa. After this, we were taken into the locker room to change in our robes and then given time to relax at our party table and in the lounge area (where there were additional treats to munch on). One by one, we were greeted by our treatment specialists and taken our separate ways for our treatments. The room where I had my massage was much more spacious than I expected because of its high ceiling. The massage itself was out-of-this-world! I felt completely relaxed didn't want it to end. After the massage, I joined the party in the nail spa area again and sometime later our nail treatments began. The manicures were great but what we really enjoyed were the large massage chairs we sat in for our pedicures! As our day came to an end, we were joined again by Kathy who took some great pictures of us and made sure that we had enjoyed everything. Happy Birthday Alison!

OHM spa is the best salon I have been to in NYC. The greatest thing about this spa is that it's owned and operating by a physical therapist, who personally trains all the massage therapists to treat clients in the best way possible. (How many day spas in NY can you say is operated by a PT and the staff is also trained by her??!) Ruth is an excellent massage therapist and it's obvious that the spa owner, Kathy, has trained her in trigger point and deep tissue techniques. I have scoliosis in my upper back and compartment syndrome in my left leg, and the continuous massage treatments have immensely helped my issues. Ohm is a hidden gem. Everything about this place is heavenly and decadent from the wonderful smells of Archipelago reed diffusers to the dark chocolate available in the waiting area. I have been a customer here since January and intend to continue going back, as long as I live in NY.Surprise Birthday Spa Party at Ohm Spa & Lounge

Holiday Spa Party with Friends at Ohm Spa

I heart Ohm Spa. I have been to Spas from Rome to San Francisco and I always manage to come back here. I have received numerous treatments at Ohm Spa, over the past 5 years…prenatal massage, deep tissue massage and so on. As a Physical Therapist, I am very picky when on the receiving end of a massage, but the staff here is spot on. So much so, that I booked a couples massage for my in-laws and manage to tell anyone coming into town about this place. I love how Ohm Spa is a quiet retreat, that feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle of NYC. Whether I am there for an hour or an all day spa experience, I have always received the best treatment from the staff, who have managed to exceed my expectations every time I walk through the door. Kudos to the owners, for your excellent choice in massage therapists, estheticians, etc. Excellent Spa!
