Ohm Spa Is Open! Here’s What We’re Doing To Help You Stay Safe

OHM SPA OPERATIONAL SAFETY PLAN

Yes, Ohm Spa is open and excited to welcome you back safely and responsibly.  Our team has been working tirelessly to develop and implement safety measures in accordance with state and federal guidelines.  Our number one priority is the safety and well-being of all our guests as well as the health of our dedicated team members.  Here’s what we are doing to help maintain a safe and clean environment at Ohm Spa:

Operating At Reduced Capacity:

In order to minimize crowding and allow for ample distance between guests, Ohm Spa will be scheduling at a maximum of 50% of our typical capacity.  In addition, we will be reducing our regular operating hours to allow for enhanced cleaning and disinfection.  While this may mean fewer available appointments, we believe it is a prudent and effective step to minimize risk for everyone.

Temperature Checks For All Guests & Staff:

A quick, simple, non-invasive temperature check will be performed on all guests and team members as they enter the space.  Any person with a temperature reading higher than 99.9 degrees will be re-tested to confirm.  If the reading is still high, guests and staff will be asked to return when their temperature declines.

Face Mask Policy

Ohm Spa will be requiring face masks for all guests and team members.  We will be continuously updating our guest mask policy in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the State of New York and the Department of Public Health.

Social Distancing

During your visit to Ohm Spa, we ask all clients to maintain a minimum of 6-feet from other guests and staff.  Just as we are all doing on a daily basis, guests will be asked to practice social distancing from individuals outside of their circle during check-in and check-out.

Additional Cleaning & Disinfecting

The frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in all areas will be increased to multiple times per hour.  This includes common areas, treatment rooms and utility spaces.  Hospital-grade disinfectant will be used on surfaces and contact areas.

Sanitizing & Hand Washing

Hand sanitizer will be available upon entry and during each appointment.  We ask that guests either wash their hands or apply hand sanitizer upon entry.

Enhanced Staff Training

Our team members are all committed to keeping Ohm Spa a safe and inviting to relax. We have been undergoing rigorous safety training and have made it a top priority to stay up to date on changing protocols.  Covered topics include detailed cleaning and disinfection procedures, potential symptoms and signs of illness, proper physical distancing while performing treatments and best practices for maintaining a healthy environment.

Contactless Payments

We’ve expanded our accepted payment methods to include NFC, chip-card and Apple Pay for a streamlined and contactless check-out process.

While no one knows how long it will take for things to get back to ‘normal,’ all of us at Ohm Spa are dedicated, prepared and excited to welcome you back.  Together, we can and will make the most out of the current situation.  We appreciate your continued loyalty and look forward to seeing you again soon!

We are thrilled to announce that Ohm Spa will be reopening for services beginning on Monday, July 6^th!  We’ve all missed you and can’t wait to welcome you back after such a long hiatus.  Ohm will be offering a streamlined menu of services designed with safety in mind while still providing the high caliber of expertise you’ve always enjoyed.

The health and safety of our guests and staff will be our top priority.  Our team has developed a comprehensive health safety program and are putting that in place to prepare for our re-opening.  We will be closely monitoring any environmental developments and will always act with the utmost attention to cleanliness and hygiene.

Especially now, we understand the tremendous need for any relaxation, escape and tranquility and look forward to providing that to our dedicated and loyal clientele.  Our services will be the same, great, relaxing treatments you’ve always enjoyed, with some added precautions to help ensure safety in the new world we all live in.
