Happy Birthday Liz!

This spa is phenomenal! I planned a bachelorette party here and was amazed by the respect and care taken to ensure the bride felt comfortable throughout the day. Kathy, the spa owner, made sure that no men would be around the spa during our party so that the bride could take off her scarf and let down her hair. As soon as we walked through the doors, we were hit with that relaxing "spa smell" and everywhere we looked, there were candles! We were greeted by two, very sweet and welcoming, women at the front desk who took our coats and had us fill out some forms in a small waiting area. While we did that, the staff setup a small table for all of our party's treats and goodies in the nail area of the spa. After this, we were taken into the locker room to change in our robes and then given time to relax at our party table and in the lounge area (where there were additional treats to munch on). One by one, we were greeted by our treatment specialists and taken our separate ways for our treatments. The room where I had my massage was much more spacious than I expected because of its high ceiling. The massage itself was out-of-this-world! I felt completely relaxed didn't want it to end. As our day came to an end, we were joined again by Kathy who took some great pictures of us and made sure that we had enjoyed everything. It was so wonderful having Liz and her friends over to celebrate her special birthday!  After their massages and body scrubs, there were smiles all around.  A special thanks to Emma for being the point-person of the group and for reaching out and choosing Ohm.  We love hosting great events with fun, positive people and it was a joy having all of you to celebrate such a wonderful occasion.  We hope you all find the opportunity to visit us again soon!   (more…)

Ohm Spa was the best massage I ever had. The masseuse was professional, thorough and courteous. The spa itself is beautiful. My girlfriend had a facial and she said it was the best one she has ever had. Even the spa staff was accomodating and warm. Congratulations to Briana!

This is THE place to relax and enjoy a thorough, competent and professional spa experience. What impressed us the most was the cleanliness and the top-to-bottom professionalism of everyone there. I didn't want to leave! After changing and being provided with fresh robes and comfortable slippers, they let you unwind in a relaxation lounge with various cookies, teas, waters and other treats. Then, I enjoyed my relaxing and perfect 60-minute Swedish massage, while my friend went for the deep tissue massage, which according to him, solved his tense lower back pain like never before. The soft memory foam-covered bed was heated and felt like heaven. The scents, the soft relaxing piped-in music and the peaceful relaxation lounge were glorious. After the massage, they welcome you back to the lounge to stay as long as you like. Thumbs up to the entire experience. A couple of notes: There are no shower, nor a sauna/steam room or Jacuzzi. We didn't mind that as we weren't necessarily looking for such, so if those are important to you, then Ohm might be your secondary choice. Danielle’s Bridal Spa Party at Ohm Spa

Ohm is my oasis in the city. I've been to a couple of spas in town and can tell you that here, they give a reliably good massage. When on their game, some of my best massage experiences have been at Ohm. When you walk in, it feels like stepping into a nice, quiet zone. You get your robe and change. Then you can wait and snack on grapes, dark chocolate squares, crackers, cookies and drinks (water mostly). The rooms are spacious enough (that's a relative compliment in New York). They work hard to help you decompress. And I would honestly say, I've only had one experience where I left not fully satisfied. I think it says alot that I'm still going back there faithfully. Let's leave it at this. When a friend asks me where to get a massage, my first answer is always Ohm. To date, I've lost no friends because of Ohm. That's a pretty good track record.Congratulations Danny!

Happy Birthday A.S.!

The first time I went to Ohm, I received a gift certificate from a friend for the Hot Stone massage. I had Nicole as my masseuse and she was excellent. Knew what she was doing and where to massage me. Told me afterwards that i was a bit more tense and muscular on the left side (which is true since I am a left handed tennis player and I always carry bags on the left). I have tried other spas and I believe Ohm overall is the best bet for the price. I liked them so much that I booked a couples massage for my boyfriends 34th birthday. They were (like before) veyr easy to book with. The staff is amazing. Very nice and accomodating. I asked for Nicole again and my bf had Jess as his masseuse. He generally doesnt like massages but he definitely enjoyed his hot stone! Thanks again Ohm, I (and the bf) will be back soon :)
